Welcome to the website of Researcher Links Workshop (RL-WS): Smart Grid Transformation of Existing Electricity Networks in the UK and Turkey: What are the Challenges and How They Change from Smart Cities to Smart Villages. This event is organized for young researchers (who received PhD in the last ten years) working in the related areas in UK and Turkey. The workshop will include keynote and invited speeches and provide the opportunity to exchange knowledge with numerous experts. The organizers warmly invites the interested audiences to attend this special event between September 5-7, 2017 in Istanbul Turkey.

British Council Researcher Links gives early career researchers across selected partner countries the opportunity to form international connections through fully funded workshops and travel grants. Since the launch in 2013, thousands of researchers from across the various countries have benefited from Researcher Links. New international collaborations, networks and projects have already been formed directly from the first round of workshops.

Researcher Links Workshops bring together early-career researchers from the UK and one of select partner countries to allow them to make international connections that can improve the quality of their research.
