Application will be done either by filling and submitting the embedded form in this page or by filling and mailing the downloadable form to smartcities@itu.edu.tr
Workshop is opened to “early career researchers” who have been awarded their PhD not more than 10 years prior to September 5, 2017, but allowances can be made for career breaks.
The following criteria will be used for short-listing the applicants:
- Applicants that either conduct or have implemented original and innovative research concepts, solutions and ideas on “smart grids”, “smart cities”, “smart villages” or related projects within the industry;
- Applicants that prepared and submitted relevant presentations (or similar contributions) on some of the Workshop’s topics;
- Female Applicants.
Applications should be done before July 10, 2017.
The list of the final participants will be announced on July 19, 2017.
Maximum 250 GBP transportation cost for UK participants and 100 GBP transportation cost for Turkish participant will be provided from project budget.
Hotel accomodation including breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided from project budget.
Accomodation will be done in twin rooms. Those who want to stay single should pay 50 GBP for three nights.
